Course Overview

  • The online self-assessment course is comprised of 8 modules, to be worked through in a 6 week period.
  • In total, the course requires 15 hours of core study-time.
  • The course is designed to be user-friendly and inclusive.
  • All course participants will receive support from an expert tutor, and their own copy of the 2010 Excellence Model reference book (included within the price).
  • Resources include both personal and collaborative learning activities.

  • describe and evaluate approaches to self-assessment, using the Public Service Improvement Framework (PSIF).
  • describe and evaluate self-assessment techniques, and their appropriateness in a range of circumstances.
  • evaluate the best self-assessment approaches and techniques for their organisations.
  • evaluate their leadership competencies and potential within the self-assessment process.
